We are pleased to offer this antique from the George III period. Examined by two historians of note this is without question the image of socrates and the ring date to 1790. Set in 18K gold with that rich yellow patina of yesteryears this ring without the cameo could not be replicated today. Superb and elegant example of Georgian splendor. Swiss enamel pastoral scenes set in 14K gold with an elegant shape earring that will enhance any wearer. In wonderful condition and please do notice that there are four complete, different scenes on display. Light as a feather and measure 2 3/4 inches of elegance. The original backs are available but the former owner did change them to posts for comfort. They actually are day/night earrings and could easily be changed back by our expert jeweler.

These rare earrings are Georgian, circa 1820. They are designed with translucent chalcedony in the classical elongated torpedo shape. The chalcedony is a subtle pale milky blue surmounted with beautifully rendered gold findings. The findings are textured and decorated with very fine cannettile work.
